Well Halo 3 should be good if it doesn't brick your 4th refurbed system with x-clamp and triple towel wrap technique.
The 360 hardware should have received the same fate as some of the topics that never made it out of the pending section: "failed approval"
The 360 is the most defective console in history. People will not forgot how badly they were burned by MS this round.
This is really going to hurt them when they launch their next system. I read posts at many forums where loyal xbox fans simply will not be early adopters (lab rats) for MS next time around. A shame as they did such a good job with the integration on live making it easy to communicate.
shockingly the HD-DVD add-on is faster than the HD DVD stand alones despite having crapola audio evn though it is also made by Toshiba.
the MS employee store in Redmond is not a major retailer.
You said:
"do you even know what are you talking about...Blu ray would have more room for lossless audio before HDDVD. I can't beleave how ignorant you are.....Spiderman3 is still the biggest movie "
Of course blu-ray has more space and bandwidth. Did you not see how I mentioned the Blades of Glory on blu-ray (was recalled but copies did make it out, look at eBay) has a lossless track and the HD-DVD version does not.
Sure some HD-DVD's d...
Exactly the idiotic response I'd expect.
FYI, you don't even need all new gear to get lossless. You can have 2 channel lossless. Or use analog inputs on many older receivers. Aside you can get a HDMI lossless receiver for less than you paid for your 360 or PS3.
The HD DVD/Blu-ray world isn't just freaking 360 and PS3.
18 months of waiting it is.
Just like Blades of Glory. Blu-ray has losslesss, HD DVD doesn't.
I like how people click "disagree" when I've stated FACTS. Just show how stupid fanboys are.
Better than expected!
"So you can train for up to 300 hours offline before you step into the online arena. "
I lasted about 5 hours before I got bored of the game on the PS3. If online works well (unlike DOA4) then it would be worth $20 or so, if not then all that extra time is for nothing.
Seriously mad that I bought the PSN version now.
The game is awesome, they just need to fix this.
Thank god for MS's perferct software and compression techniques. Glad to see all games from them are perfect and fit on one floppy disc.
IGN, please take a few more hits.
These are the same people that can't stand it when the PS3 actually gets a better version of a multipplatform game (not the norm), can't stand it when a former exclusive goes to PS3 as well despite meaning nothing on their end as they still get it.
It is simply the blind sheep mentality, that they hope to recruit more sheep to.
Taking in revenue from the best (Blu-ray) mid level (VOD) and the masses (DVD). From a business standpoint it makes perfect sense to follow Disney's Path, Fox is doing the same and I'm sure others will be on VOD as well. It will be a shame if the mid level kills the top.
MS and Toshiba is turning more and more anti-consumer by the day.
Regardless Blu-ray still has more studio support and better hardwared and better software pricing. Sure buggy Toshiba players don't cost as much do to crappy quality control (did microsoft teach them about that or othe other way around???) but in the case of the 360 and Toshiba players you simply don't get a good value whatsoever.
Do MS sheep really want the inferior format to win, the format with...
Still that just shows how much more dominating blu-ray is.
As for your PS2/Wii comparions. That is apples to oranges.
FYI, the Dreamcast launched before the PS2 and at the time of the PS2 could be had for under $100. Also the gamecube was less than the PS2.
Hint: Content was a huge factor in the PS3's success, seeing the blu-ray has a majority of studio support and seeing that HD-DVD is already much less expensive than blu-ray and hd-dvd is stil...
Sadly you probably don't even comprehend that you are contradicting yourself now.
Studios don't give a rats ass about attach rates, they care about the volume of movies they sale and that is it. Also, keep in mind Toshiba will be putting HD-DVD drives in their laptops, there goes your attach rate that you care about so much (studios don't). You do realize (well you probably don't, you are very ignorant of many other things, hence you contradicting yourself) Toshiba has signi...
lol, how stupid is it to say that especially prefaced by "Every game will work with every Xbox 360 system,"
Man, MS must really think their userbase/potential customers are complete idiots.
they promisesd 60fps on PGR3, then blamed not having enough time and now they aren't even doing it for PGR4.
Plus they aren't even doing night and day tracks due to lack of space on the DVD.
And to top it off it doens't look nearly as good as the early pics they fed us.
